For Pete's Sake

A waitress in Texas says she was stiffed on a tip for being a Chiefs fan

For one fan, the passage of time hasn’t erased the memory of how the Houston Texans’ season came to an end.

A waitress in Texas shared a photo of a receipt that was left on her table on Sunday that showed a Houston fan didn’t leave any money because the Chiefs beat the Texans in the AFC Divisional Playoff game in January.

A Twitter user named QueenLilDash was wearing a Chiefs mask at work and that apparently triggered the Houston fan.

This is what the person wrote:

“Chiefs 51, Texans 31

“2019 playoffs your lucky to get a tip! lol! Thanks”

I’m unsure why the restaurant patron wrote “lol” after not leaving a tip. The Texans led 24-0 early in the second quarter, but gave up six straight touchdowns in a lopsided loss.

That game is still fresh in the mind of at least one Houston fan.
