For Pete's Sake

Look inside former Royals owner David Glass’ home, which is being sold for $3.85M

One criticism from Royals fans about former owner David Glass was his Arkansas roots. They thought Glass spent the majority of his time in “The Natural State.”

Unbeknownst to those fans, Glass was at many Royals home games. Glass, who died in January just months after selling the team to a group led by John Sherman, owned a home in Kansas City, and it’s on the market.

Realtor.com identified the property on Ward Parkway as having been owned by Glass. It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a three-car garage and is 7,722 square feet. It’s been on the market for more than 11 weeks and is going for $3.85 million.

This is part of the description from Realtor.com: “Built in 2004, the European-style villa sits in the Country Club Plaza neighborhood and offers ‘maintenance-free living.’ ... It’s just across the parkway from Brush Creek, a few short blocks from the Mission Hills Country Club, and about 7 miles west of the Royals’ home ballpark of Kauffman Stadium.”

You can take a look inside the home in the video above.
