LeSean McCoy regrets tweeting ‘Avengers’ spoiler, upsetting fans of the ‘cartoons’
This is just a guess, but former Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy probably didn’t make any new friends among fans of the Marvel Universe.
Last year, McCoy tweeted a big plot twist from “Avengers: Endgame” after getting an early chance to see the film. That drew the ire of people who had yet to watch the blockbuster movie.
On Wednesday, McCoy visited “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network and said he knows he made a terrible error in judgment.
“That was,” McCoy said, “the worst decision of my life.”
“I didn’t know the reaction of the people,” he added. “I didn’t know that. If I knew that, I would never have tweeted that.”
Nothing wrong with that, right?
Well, McCoy added: “I didn’t know people really got into them cartoons like that.”
Oh, boy.
The “Good Morning Football” cast chuckled at the “cartoons” comment.
