From streaking to accents: Five hilarious moments in Dustin Colquitt’s Chiefs career
Serious question: How many NFL punters would receive an outpouring of support such as the one Chiefs fans have shown Dustin Colquitt?
It’s a sign of his popularity that Colquitt’s name was trending on Twitter on Tuesday as fans shared their thoughts on his release from the team.
Colquitt had a great 15-year career with the Chiefs.
In addition to being a two-time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl champion, a holder and a Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, Colquitt had a great sense of humor.
Here are five instances of Colquitt showing his funny side.
1. Draft Day
The Chiefs took Colquitt with the 99th overall pick of the 2005 Draft, which was much earlier than he had expected. Colquitt talked about getting a call from Dick Vermeil:

The Chiefs were featured on “Hard Knocks” in 2007, and while this isn’t verified to be Colquitt, it’s interesting that video of someone wearing a towel and running through the locker room aired during this interview with Colquitt. Oh, and the towel was on his head.

This is probably the video most fans know of Colquitt. He was mic’d-up for the 2018 game against the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium and was surprised/excited when quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw an 89-yard touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson on a third-down play:
