NFL commissioner Roger Goodell did the Chop before announcing a Chiefs draft pick

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell looked a little tired by the end of Friday’s third round of the draft.

Goodell had been standing while announcing most picks over the first two days, but by Friday night, he sat while revealing some picks.

In the case of the Chiefs’ third-round pick, which was No. 96 overall, Goodell tried to rev up the Chiefs fans on the screen behind him. Goodell did a little “Super Bowl Chop” before taking a seat in his comfy chair and announcing the Chiefs had selected TCU offensive lineman Lucas Niang.

Perhaps that was a peace offering.
