The lack of Chargers fans behind Roger Goodell on NFL Draft screen didn’t go unnoticed

To add a fan element to the virtual NFL Draft on Thursday night, fans from each team were on a video screen behind commissioner Roger Goodell.

It resembled a Zoom call, and in most instances, each team had 15 fans reacting to the first-round pick of each team.

One notable exception: the Los Angeles Chargers.

Yeah, that’s the team that routinely had more visiting fans for its home games at a soccer stadium, StubHub Stadium, which had a capacity of 27,000.

The Chargers only had a dozen fans boxes behind Goodell, and it appeared that they weren’t all being used.
