Momentous Chiefs and Royals events will be show again this week on TV
This week, baseball fans in Kansas City fans will get a chance to see one-hit wonder Mike Trout and the day Patrick Mahomes joined the Chiefs.
Of course, Trout is the biggest star in baseball, but in the 2014 American League Division Series, he batted .083 as the Angels were swept by the Royals. Trout had just one hit.
Those three games will be shown again this week on Fox Sports Kansas City, and the first two were tight affairs as the Royals took the opener 3-2 in 11 innings and won 4-1 in 11 innings in Game 2.
Fox Sports KC will broadcast the entire 2014 American League Championship Series next week. All games are at 7 p.m. Here is the schedule:

Chiefs
For Chiefs fans, ESPN2 will be showing one of the biggest moments in franchise history on Tuesday night.
It will rebroadcast the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, including the intrigue when the Chiefs traded up to select Mahomes. Rich Eisen of the NFL Network exclaimed: “Woooowwww. It is Patrick Mahomes” after commissioner Roger Goodell announced the pick.
That broadcast will start at 7 p.m., and will also include the Texans picking Deshaun Watson and the Bears trading up (!) to take Mitchell Trubisky.
On Wednesday, CBS Sports Network will show a pair of Chiefs playoff games.
7 p.m.: Patriots-Chiefs in the 2018 AFC Championship Game.
9 p.m.: Chiefs’ 35-24 win over the Tennessee Titans in the 2019 AFC Championship Game in January.

For soccer fans, this wasn’t nearly as momentous, but it was fun.
Sporting Kansas City’s 6-0 rout of Vancouver from April 20, 2018 will be shown Saturday at 7 p.m. on Fox Sports Kansas City.
