Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill thumped a displeased Tyrann Mathieu in Madden 2020 tournament

Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill left no doubt about the outcome of this game.

Hill faced off Wednesday against teammate Tyrann Mathieu in the Checkdown’s eight-player bracket-style Madden challenge with the winner picking a donation for COVID-19 relief.

This one was over before it was over, and Mathieu knew it. That’s why he pulled the plug* before the game ended.

*Perhaps literally

Mathieu played as the Chiefs in the game, while Hill was the Bears. Here is how it ended as Chiefs teammates were watching the Twitch livestream:

Yep, Mathieu simply shutdown the game.

Hill rubbed a little salt in Mathieu’s wound after the 62-32 win:

Patrick Mahomes checked in with Mathieu:

Mathieu, who deleted a tweet in which he expressed his, um, displeasure, did respond to Fox 4 sports director Rob Collins:

Hill, who advanced to play the Chargers’ Derwin James, would have liked to be the Chiefs in his game against Mathieu:

The Bears’ Tarik Cohen was watching the action and loved a spin move:

If you want to see highlights from the game, the Chiefs blog Arrowhead Pride has a nice recap.
