‘Today’ host Hoda Cotb sheds a tear after Drew Brees interview about COVID-19 donation
These are tough days for everyone.
As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads and the numbers of the affected and dying grows at an alarming rate, the toll is being felt even by those who are asymptomatic.
For example, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was on the “Today” show to talk about his $5 million donation to help with coronavirus relief in Louisiana.
Brees was interviewed by Hoda Kotb, who was an anchor at one time in New Orleans.
When the talk was over, Kotb was overwhelmed with emotion of what’s going on in the world.
