Fans managed to roast the Astros during MLB’s ‘Opening Day At Home’ rebroadcast
Although the Major League Baseball season has been delayed, some fans are in midseason form.
Specifically, those people who won’t soon forget the Houston Astros cheating scandal during their 2017 World Series championship season. It was only fully revealed during the offseason.
Thursday was supposed to be opening day, but the season is on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, MLB did its best to bring baseball to fans with its “Opening Day At Home” schedule.
A classic game featuring all 30 teams* was streamed, and fans had the opportunity to comment on the game as it unfolded.
*For Royals fans, it was Game 5 of the 2015 World Series
Fans who watched the Nationals’ game on YouTube (Game 7 of last year’s World Series) took the opportunity to roast the Astros, which shows the anger toward Houston isn’t going to dissipate anytime soon.
