Networks will be airing these past games featuring KC teams over the weekend
Kansas fans can watch the 2008 national championship game again, this time without the stress.
The Jayhawks beat Memphis 75-68 in overtime, thanks to Mario’s Miracle, a three-pointer by Mario Chalmers with 2.1 seconds left in regulation.
CBS Sports chose that contest as one of the six classic NCAA Tournament games it will air again over the weekend. KU’s win will be on CBS (Ch. 5) at 11 a.m., followed by Virginia’s win over Texas Tech last year and the Villanova-North Carolina final from 2016.
Here is the schedule:
That’s not the only option for KC sports fans.
Fox Sports Kansas City will be airing past Sporting KC and Royals games through the end of the month. Here is the schedule:

Sunday: White Sox at Royals 7/16/19 (an 11-0 Royals victory)
Tuesday: Royals at Indians 6/25/19 (Royals scored five in the ninth and won 8-6)

March 28: Houston at Sporting KC (a 4-0 Sporting victory)
March 29: Twins at Royals 9/29/19 (A 5-4 walk-off win in season finale)
Fox Sports KC expects to add more games in the future as sports leagues remain shut down because of COVID-19 spread. The network hopes to include postseason games for the Royals and Sporting.
“Until live sports return, we’ll be airing memorable Royals games and Sporting KC matches from the past, which we hope serve as a brief diversion and remind us of the teams and moments that bring our community together,” Fox Sports Kansas City general manager and senior vice president Jack Donovan said in a news release.
