Iowa City police show pro-Chiefs bias with savage tweet about hygiene tips

Either someone at the Iowa City police department is a Chiefs fan or knows a San Francisco 49ers supporter.

How else to explain a tweet Monday with hygiene tips during the coronavirus scare (and frankly at all times) that randomly includes a bitmoji of a sad 49ers fan?

The Iowa City police wrote: “When sneezing/coughing happen, please cover your mouth. Shove your face in your elbow or a prematurely purchased ‘49ers 2020 Super Bowl Champs’ shirt to keep from spreading the germs. Washing your hands for 20 secs & using hand sanitizer are other ways to keep you/others healthy.”

Savage, right?

It’s worth noting that San Francisco tight end George Kittle played for the Iowa Hawkeyes, whose games are played in Iowa City.
