Chiefs’ Super Bowl championship made it into a New York Times crossword puzzle

The Chiefs are gaining recognition for their first Super Bowl championship in 50 years in big and small ways.

One unexpected bit of notoriety came in Tuesday’s New York Times. And it wasn’t in the sports section.

The Chiefs’ win in Super Bowl LIV was mentioned in the crossword puzzle, which is considered one of the most difficult daily games.

The answer for 15 Across was a four-letter word that begins with “A.”
