Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes ‘consoles’ Joe Burrow about hand measurement at NFL Combine
Hey, did you know Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was overweight when he took part in the NFL Combine?
It’s true ... if you believe in the Body Mass Index ranges. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a person with a BMI between 25.0 and 29.9 is considered overweight.
Mahomes’ Combine numbers show he had a BMI of 29.48 in 2017.
The conclusion: The BMI numbers aren’t always in line with reality.
One other interesting tidbit about Mahomes: his hand size measured at 9.25 inches. That’s noteworthy because LSU quarterback Joe Burrow’s hand was measured at 9 inches on Monday, leading to a round of jokes on Twitter.
