For Pete's Sake

Craig Sager’s daughter got an Andy Reid tattoo because Chiefs won the Super Bowl

Kacy Sager got her name because of her mother’s love of Kansas City sports.

Late NBA broadcaster Craig Sager moved to Kansas City from Florida in 1978, and was working for KMBC (Ch. 9) when he met his first wife, Lisa Gabel, while covering a Royals game in 1980. Lisa was pregnant during the Royals’ 1985 World Series run and the baseball team’s success plus her love of the Chiefs led Lisa to name her baby Kacy.

Kacy has been a fan of Kansas City sports teams her entire life, and in October 2018 tweeted a promise if the Chiefs were to win the Super Bowl:

She made good on that promise and now has the Andy Reid doodle tattoo on her wrist:

Although some people made fun of the tattoo, most of the Twitter responses were positive.

I like it too, but the best Chiefs tattoo (in my opinion) since the Super Bowl belongs to Twitter user Nate Mace, with the “Andylorian:”
