For Pete's Sake

The NFL picked the top 25 plays from the 2019 season. Six were run by the Chiefs.

NFL fans probably didn’t require more proof that the Chiefs have the most dynamic offense in the league, but it came Friday.

On Twitter, the NFL shared the top 25 plays from the 2019 season and a whopping six were by the Chiefs. That’s 24% of the best plays from just one team.

The video is below, but if you want to skip to the good parts, here is the breakdown of Chiefs plays:

No. 24: Travis Kelce caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes against the Lions and lateraled the ball to LeSean McCoy, who gained an additional 20 yards.

No. 21: Tyreek Hill’s leaping 46-yard touchdown grab against the Texans in the regular season. Hill outfought a Houston defensive back to catch the pass, then found the end zone despite three defenders trying to take him down.

No. 12: Kelce’s 5-yard touchdown catch from Mahomes with a half-dozen Texans in the area in the AFC Divisional playoff game. That gave the Chiefs the lead before halftime and they never looked back.

No. 7: Damien Williams’ 5-yard touchdown reception from Mahomes that gave the Chiefs a 24-20 lead in the Super Bowl.

No. 5: Mahomes’ incredible 27-yard touchdown run against the Titans in the AFC Championship Game.

No. 1: It’s the “2-3 Jet Chip Wasp” play from Super Bowl LIV that started the Chiefs on their fourth-quarter comeback against the 49ers.
