Andy Reid gave Patrick Mahomes a kiss on the cheek before final series of Super Bowl

The game was already in the bag when Kendall Fuller removed all doubt by intercepting a pass from 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo with 57 seconds remaining in Super Bowl LIV.

The Chiefs led 31-20, so they just needed to run out the clock on the victory.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes walked over to coach Andy Reid and the two hugged as Mahomes said: “This is awesome. That’s awesome, coach.”

Reid instructed Mahomes to run all the time off the clock and said: “Let’s put it down. We’ve got to use all the time, OK?”

“Yes sir,” was Mahomes’ response.

Then Reid let out a “ha ha” and gave Mahomes a kiss on the cheek as a father would his son.
