Travis Kelce says his actions in Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade could go one of two ways

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce knows the comparisons are coming.

Kelce’s brother, Jason, wore a Mummers costume during the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade two years ago and delivered an epic speech that included quite a few curse words.

On Tuesday, Travis Kelce called “The Rich Eisen Show” and, after talking about how he spent his time* following the Super Bowl, was asked if he had anything prepared for Wednesday’s parade.

*The party lasted to nearly noon

“Man, I don’t know. I don’t know. I’m more nervous about this than I was game,” Kelce said. “The game was football. At the end of the day, the game was a game.

“This speech, to even try, everyone’s going to put it up against my brother’s speech like I’m actually competing against him. It doesn’t matter what I say. So it’s either I try to go all out and top what my brother did or I don’t try to do it all and I throw the white flag in the air.”

Eisen said he believed in Kelce.

“If the people are going to be out there in the cold like that, I probably should say something to fire them up,” Kelce said.
