Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes tweets video encapsulating his road to a Super Bowl title

The road to becoming a Super Bowl MVP isn’t without its challenges.

On Monday, one day after the Chiefs beat the 49ers and won Super Bowl LIV in Miami, quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared a video that shows his journey to becoming the game’s MVP.

The video includes clips of Mahomes at Texas Tech, the Combine, draft day and even the play in which he suffered a dislocated kneecap during a game this past season in Denver.

It ends with Mahomes lifting the Lombardi Trophy Sunday after the Super Bowl.

Snippets of this sentence are overlaid over the video: “Before moments like this are years of hard work. Before comebacks are setbacks. But when you believe in each other you can achieve ... the impossible.”
