Chiefs owner Clark Hunt summed it up perfectly: “To the Chiefs Kingdom, you guys are world champions again.”
That is what Hunt said Sunday after receiving the Lombardi Trophy following the Chiefs’ 31-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium.
Mahomes, who was the game’s MVP, told everyone he was going to DisneyWorld during the ceremony and punctuated it with this message: “Thank you Kansas City! We did it!”
