Chiefs scored two touchdowns in span of 3:29 to take lead at Super Bowl LIV

That quick-strike Chiefs offense came alive at the right time in Super Bowl LIV.

Trailing by 10 in the fourth quarter, the Chiefs had driven to the San Francisco 1-yard line when Travis Kelce found himself all alone in the end zone.

Mahomes’ pass was right on the mark, and the crowd of 62,417 at Hard Rock Stadium went nuts. Well, the Chiefs portion.

The touchdown, which came with 6 minutes, 13 seconds to play in the game, capped a 10-play, 83-yard drive that took just 2 minutes, 40 seconds.

That cut the lead to three points, and the Chiefs defense forced a punt after a three and out.

The Chiefs then drove 65 yards in seven plays and culminated with this touchdown pass from Mahomes to running back Damien Williams:

The play was reviewed and the call stood. The Chiefs led 24-20.
