NFL Network analyst was amazed by one subtle move Patrick Mahomes made on ‘The Run’

How many times have you watched it?

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ 27-yard touchdown run against the Titans in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game is already part of Chiefs lore. Fans have shared on social media that they’ve watched a replay of his scamper multiple times.

NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger took a closer look at the run and had not realized until a repeat viewing that Mahomes made a subtly great move on Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans.

“Watch what Mahomes does to Evans. How about this little move here,” Baldinger said. “Just this fake, just a look back, he knows Evans is chasing him. ... I mean, where do you learn how to do this?”
