A Twitter user put Jim Ross’ WWE commentary to video of KU, K-State brawl
It didn’t take long for video of the brawl that ended Tuesday night’s Sunflower Showdown men’s basketball game to go viral.
Kansas State coach Bruce Weber and KU coach Bill Self were both contrite after the game, which ended with punches thrown and Silvio De Sousa briefly holding a stool above his head. Self indefinitely suspended De Sousa on Wednesday.
For many on Twitter, it looked like a pro wrestling match.
That’s why Twitter user Timothy Burke added audio of former WWE commentator Jim Ross to a video and, frankly, it’s amazing how much of what Ross said from a previous pro wrestling match fit with the fracas at Allen Fieldhouse.
