Watch highlights from Chiefs’ 35-24 win over Titans in AFC Championship Game
It wasn’t quite as awful as week earlier, but the Chiefs got off to another poor start in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
Defensive penalties and dropped passes cost the Chiefs as they fell behind by 10 points in the first quarter. But outscored the Titans 35-7 and punched their ticket to Super Bowl LIV with a 35-24 win at Arrowhead Stadium.
It will be the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years. Defensive back Daniel Sorensen was asked after the game if the reality of advancing to the Super Bowl berth had sunk in yet.
“Not entirely, you know, we’re still enjoying the win,” Sorensen said. “That’ll sink in maybe when we get on that plane headed to Miami.”
