Chiefs release a hype video for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game
“Kansas City, let’s bring it home.”
Those words were spoken by Hall of Famer linebacker Willie Lanier, who played 11 seasons with the Chiefs and was part of the Super Bowl IV winning team. Chiefs fan can probably guess what “it” he was taking about.
Lanier narrated a hype video the Chiefs made ahead of their AFC Championship Game appearance against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.
“Sometimes we find ourselves challenged,” Lanier said in the video. “Sometimes we find ourselves cornered. But sometimes we find ourselves destined.”
A number of highlights from the season were shown before an image appeared of the Lamar Hunt trophy, which is given to the AFC champions. Lanier then finished with the tag line: “Kansas City, let’s bring it home.”
