Sideline video shows Chiefs’ Travis Kelce amazed by how Patrick Mahomes read his mind
Those “how’d he do that?” thoughts about quarterback Patrick Mahomes aren’t limited to Chiefs fans.
During the Chiefs’ 51-31 win over the Houston Texans in Sunday’s AFC Divisional Playoff game, tight end Travis Kelce couldn’t understand how Mahomes knew where he was about to run.
Inside the NFL shared a video clip of a Kelce and Mahomes exchange that went like this:
Kelce: “I don’t understand how you know what I’m doing.”
Mahomes: “I knew you were going to turn.”
Kelce: “There is nothing telling you I was going to do that, and the ball was in the air before I did it.”
Mahomes: “That’s what I wanted you to do.”
Kelce then let out a scream.
