Eric Fisher to thank Chiefs fans ‘Big Fish style’ for beers he used in celebration

Eric Fisher stole a page from Stone Cold Steve Austin while celebrating the Chiefs’ final touchdown in Sunday’s 51-31 win over the Houston Texans in an AFC Divisional Playoff game.

Fisher grabbed two beers from spectators and poured them over his helmet, a move made famous by Austin during his wrestling days.

After the game, Fisher gave a shout out to all Chiefs fans, especially the people who sacrificed their beers for his big moment.

“You all were amazing today,” Fisher said in a Twitter video for Chiefs fans. “I appreciate you all big time. Also, I appreciate the two guys whose beer I borrowed for one hell of a celebration. If you know them and can tag them below so I can thank them Big Fish style, I would greatly appreciate that. Chiefs Kingdom, this Bud’s for you.”

The Athletic identified the fans as Troy and Alex Thompson, who live in Springfield, Missouri.

Alex Thompson tweeted this at Fisher:

And Thompson tweeted at Budweiser, too:
