For Pete's Sake

The Chiefs’ offense was so prolific that Arrowhead Stadium ran out of fireworks

This being the Patrick Mahomes Era, one might think there would be a stockpile of fireworks to shoot off after touchdowns at Arrowhead Stadium.

But that wasn’t the case Sunday during the Chiefs’ 51-31 win over the Houston Texans in an AFC Divisional Playoff game.

The Chiefs found the end zone seven times as they outscored Houston 51-7 after falling behind 24-0.

It is customary for fireworks to be shot off after a Chiefs touchdown. However, all the scoring led to an announcement at Arrowhead Stadium:

Here’s guessing no one at Arrowhead Stadium was disappointed about the fireworks shortage.
