76ers star Joel Embiid’s dislocated finger grossed out players and fans alike

Let’s just get this stated from the beginning: If you’re squeamish, you might not want to look at some of the images from Twitter that are below.

It wasn’t the worst thing you’ll ever see in sports, but Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid’s finger was dislocated Monday night during a game against the Oklahoma Thunder.

Still, the sight of Embiid’s finger pointed in a direction that God didn’t intend was disturbing, even to fellow players such as the Thunder’s Mike Muscala.

Embiid, the former Kansas star, was injured while guarding Steven Adams in the first quarter, didn’t seem to be in too much pain. However, he went to the locker room but returned not long after.

Muscala’s reaction was not unlike others watching the game:
