For Pete's Sake

CBS Sports appeared to troll Chargers’ Philip Rivers during Sunday’s game

It’s no shock that CBS Sports played a Justin Timberlake song while going to commercial during Sunday’s Chiefs-Chargers game.

Timberlake is a big star, but the song CBS picked? Well, it seems intentional that it was “Cry Me A River.”

Right or wrong, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has a reputation for complaining about officiating calls. So, this was more like CBS trolling Rivers.

More revealing, the camera was on Rivers when the music played:

Before the game, “Cry Me A River” also played when Rivers ran on the field at Arrowhead Stadium as Twitter users noted.
