For Pete's Sake

Andy Reid’s daughter and Tech N9ne will take part in Chiefs-Chargers pregame events

Chiefs coach Andy Reid admitted he’ll be nervous before Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

But it will have nothing to do with the game.

Reid’s daughter, Crosby, will perform the national anthem at Arrowhead Stadium. Reid said his daughter’s singing ability was passed down ... from his wife, Tammy.

“She’ll do great,” Reid told reporters on Friday. “I get more nervous than she does. She enjoys all that. I can’t sing a lick. It’s my wife, it’s all on her side.”

If the weather cooperates, a KC-135 Stratotanker out of McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, will perform a flyover at the conclusion of the national anthem.

Rap artist/Kansas City native Tech N9ne will be the drum leader before the game. The drum is located in the upper deck below the west scoreboard.

Tech N9ne isn’t shy about sharing his love of the Chiefs:
