This is the map of where the Chiefs-Broncos broadcast will be seen in the United States
Here’s a prop bet Las Vegas should offer: an over/under on the number of times Dan Fouts and Ian Eagle mention Drew Lock’s name during Sunday’s Chiefs-Broncos game.
Eagle will be the play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports with Dan Fouts working as the analyst for the game at Arrowhead Stadium (Evan Washburn will work as a sideline reporter). Lock, the Broncos quarterback, will be back in Kansas City for the first time with Denver.
Lock, the former Lee’s Summit High School and Missouri star, was taken in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft. After being sidelined because of an injury, he is 2-0 as a starter, and his homecoming will be a big story.
The Chiefs-Broncos contest, which kicks off at noon, is one of four early games that CBS will show Sunday. The others are Texans-Titans, Patriots-Bengals and Dolphins-Giants.
Most of the Midwest will see the Chiefs game. Because the Vikings play the Chargers in the late game, a chunk of the upper Midwest won’t see the Chiefs-Broncos game.
According to SportsBroadcastJournal.com, the Chiefs game will be seen by 16% of the country and in 76 of the 236 CBS markets.
