Chiefs’ Juan Thornhill got a call from Deion Sanders, talked about his pick-six

Chiefs rookie safety Juan Thornhill’s Sunday included his first NFL touchdown, a new T-shirt and a call from a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

The latter was Deion Sanders of the NFL Network who records phone calls to players who have a big game. The segment is called “You ball you get the call.”

Thornhill, who had a key stop on a Raiders’ fourth-and-1 play in addition to an interception return for a touchdown, was one of the players Sanders singled out.

Because he got the phone call, Thornhill received a T-shirt with “You ball you get the call” on it.

Sanders wanted to see that shirt and to hear all about Thornhill’s pick-six. Thornhill also was asked about the Chiefs’ next game at New England.
