Patrick Mahomes tweets message to Chiefs fans: ‘We will reset and reload’

Among the many crazy stats to come from the Chiefs’ 54-51 loss to the Rams on Monday night, there’s one I’ve not seen.

How many quarterbacks have ever had a six-touchdown, five-turnover game?

I’m guessing that the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes is the first, although some of those turnovers were not his fault.

Still, Mahomes is vowing to come back better than ever after the Chiefs’ bye week. He tweeted a message to that effect on Tuesday morning in a message to Chiefs fans.

He wrote: “Thank you #Chiefskingdom for all the support last night! We will reset and reload during this bye and come back ready to go!”

The Chiefs’ next game is at Oakland on Dec. 2.
