Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes is subject of this fun campaign commercial

Tuesday is election day, and that means one wonderful thing:

There will be no political commercials on TV on Wednesday. Now that’s a message we can all approve, right?

But here’s one last political commercial, and trust me when I say this won’t bother a single Chiefs fan. It’s a campaign ad for Patrick Mahomes that CBS made ahead of Sunday’s Chiefs-Browns game.

As the announcer notes: “Patrick Mahomes is a fresh face who’s shown he can connect with both the right and the left.”

The commercial then cuts to Mahomes completing that left-handed pass against the Broncos.

The last message in the commercial: “It’s time to put a real Chief in charge.”

Just for kicks, it apparently was sponsored by former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason, who is part of the CBS studio show.
