Chiefs’ Cam Erving throws dog mask back into stands in Cleveland, draws ire of fans

When is the last time you heard of an offensive lineman being public enemy No. 1 of an opposing fan base?

Well, it happened Sunday when the Chiefs beat the Browns 37-21 in Cleveland. Many Browns fans were not happy with Chiefs offensive lineman Cam Erving.

What had them upset?

Well, for starters, Erving was celebrating with his teammates following a touchdown and a Browns fan threw a dog mask toward the KC players.

Erving, the former Browns player, saw it and threw it back (video from Twitter user Clay Wendler):

I’m not sure if that’s the only reason for the anger, but there were some upset Cleveland fans:
