Furious Raiders fans vent after 49ers rout Oakland on national TV

Ten months ago, Raiders fans were on Cloud 9 that Jon Gruden was returning to coach in Oakland.

That seems like a lifetime ago for some in Raiders Nation, which was seething Thursday night after watching the Raiders get manhandled by the 49ers in a battle of one-win teams. San Francisco started its third-string quarterback, yet rolled to a 34-3 win.

If this wasn’t the low point of Oakland’s season, then these last eight games (including two against the Chiefs) are going to be brutal for Raiders fans.

But, honestly, many Raiders fans aren’t expecting much now.

During and after Thursday’s game, Raiders fans sounded off about their now 1-7 team. Here is a sample of what they shared on Twitter and let’s start with a former Raiders player:
