‘Mizzou might be cursed.’ Fans react to Jontay Porter’s season-ending injury

The Missouri men’s basketball team was dealt a crushing blow on Sunday.

Sophomore Jontay Porter, who was expected to be the team’s best player, injured the ACL and MCL in his knee during a scrimmage Sunday against Southern Illinois.

Porter, who was projected as a top-10 NBA Draft pick, will miss the season. His brother Michael Jr., who was drafted in the first round by the Denver Nuggets earlier this year, played just three games for Mizzou after undergoing back surgery last November.

Now another Porter is out, and Mizzou fans were sad and feeling like the school is cursed.
