NFL’s NextGen stats show Tyreek Hill topped 20 mph on catch against Jalen Ramsey

The Cheetah has reached a faster speed in his career, but this was still impressive.

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, whose nickname is Cheetah, had a good battle with Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey during Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Hill got the better of Ramsey on one play in particular: a 36-yard catch down the sideline.

The NFL’s Next Gen stats showed that Hill reached a top speed or 20.45 mph on the play, which was his second-fast play of the game. Hill hit 21.11 mph on a 5-yard run.

Those were two of the six fastest times in Week 5 games in the NFL.
