For Pete's Sake

Chris Jones’ pick-six for Chiefs was similar to this one from his high-school days

The last time Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones leaped to intercept a pass and returned the ball for a touchdown, the opponents were much smaller.

Jones had a pick-six in the Chiefs’ 30-14 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. He snatched the pass from the Jaguars’ Blake Bortles and rambled to the end zone.

Hours after the Chiefs’ victory, the video above was shared by Robby Donoho III, and it shows Jones making a similar play in 2012 when he was playing for Houston High School in Mississippi.

Jones, who is now 6-foot-6 and 311 pounds, towered above his opponents in high school. And he had a longer return on this high-school play than the 20-yard score on Sunday.

That was a heck of a play in high school, don’t you think?
