For Pete's Sake

Phillies fan caught a home-run ball while holding a baby

Oh baby, what a catch.

Yeah, that’s a bad pun, but it really was a nice grab by a Phillies fan who snagged a home-run ball hit by Philadelphia’s Maikel Franco in the bottom of the ninth inning of Monday’s game.

The man, who was wearing a Roy Halladay shirt, was quite excited to get the ball in no small part because he didn’t drop the baby that he was holding.

While not as excited as the dude with the souvenir, the baby didn’t cry about being jostled.
