Steph Curry’s 2-year-old daughter the real star after game one of Western Conference finals
NBA MVP Steph Curry had 34 points, including two free throws in the final seconds, in Golden State’s 110-106 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the first game of the Western Conference finals Tuesday night in Oakland.
But it was his 2-year-old daughter’s antics at his postgame news conference that provided the night’s most memorable performance.
Steph Curry's adorable Riley took over his press conference, and we're all better for it http://t.co/uaS7kCheJF pic.twitter.com/Qj1UJWSJWu

— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) May 20, 2015One journalist expressed his displeasure in a now-deleted tweet:
“Steph Curry's kid is cute. That doesn't mean she should have been at presser. There are professionals on deadlines there w/ jobs to do, too.”
This did not go over well on Twitter.
If Steph Curry's kid at the press conference is such an impediment to you doing your job, you should probably get a new job.

— Old Hoss Radbourn (@OldHossRadbourn) May 20, 2015Hey journalists who are reprimanding Steph for bringing his adorable daughter on stage: This is why no one likes you.
— Larry Beyince (@DragonflyJonez) May 20, 2015If you can't write a story because a 2-year-old interrupted a press conference, you need to find another job.
— Mark Passwaters (@mbpRivals) May 20, 2015As for the game itself, the Warriors came back from a 16-point deficit in the second quarter, closing the half on a 21-4 run and later holding off Houston in the game’s final minute. Houston’s James Harden, the MVP runner-up, had 28 points.
The second game is Thursday night in Oakland.
