Sunday night’s Royals game in Detroit was just full of weirdness.

Omar Infante sailed a behind-the-back throw to first over Eric Hosmer’s head.

Christian Colon dribbled a gravity-defying foul ball up the first-base line that spun back into fair territory (which is why Little Leaguers are told to run those out, Christian).

And after a lengthy rain delay, ESPN announcers John Kruk and Curt Schilling went on for several minutes about whether Alex Gordon was actually hit by a pitch in the top of the 10th (yep, he was). That HBP led to the winning run, scored without the Blue Brothers getting a hit.

And is Salvador Perez getting in Detroit slugger Miguel Cabrera’s head?
