Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was with the Chiefs for just one season, but clearly he made some good friends.

Foles, who was the Chiefs’ backup in 2016, went to the Eagles and was a backup until Carson Wentz suffered a season-ending injury late in the regular season. That made Philadelphia an underdog in each of its playoff games, including Super Bowl LII.

Not that it mattered.

Foles was the Super Bowl MVP after the Eagles beat the Patriots 41-33 on Sunday in Minneapolis. Foles’ former teammates in Kansas City, other NFL players and people around the country congratulated Foles on his remarkable achievement.
