Headline writers around the world have used the word “ageless” when describing Roger Federer’s success the past year.
Federer, 36, won two Grand Slam titles last year, and is currently ranked second in the world.
That’s why actor Will Ferrell asked if Federer was a “witch or a vampire” after Federer’s opening-round victory at the Australian Open. To be clear, Ferrell was channeling one of his movie characters — Ron Burgundy — when he was talking with Federer.
There were also questions about wombat meat (“the national food of Australia”), what the fans say to him and a familiar sign off.
