It wasn’t textbook form, but a Hawks fan won $10,000 with this half-court shot
It’s been a good week for fans taking long-range shots at basketball games.
On Tuesday night, a Boston College student made a 94-foot golf putt across a basketball court and won $1,000 in Under Armour products. On Thursday, an Atlanta Hawks fans drained a half-court shot (with a basketball, of course) and won $10,000.
It was part of a contest during the Hawks-Pistons game.
The form may not have been the best, but all’s well that ends well. And it’s going to be a nice Christmas for Norman (video from the Hawks):
