For Pete's Sake

Baseball fans were greeted with some big news when they awoke on Saturday morning: the Marlins had a deal in place to send reigning National League MVP Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees.

Stanton hit 59 home runs this past season, the most in the NL. Yankees rookie outfielder Aaron Judge clubbed 52 and led the American League.

In 2018, the two will be in the same lineup.

Judge was happy about the new addition and he tweeted a message to Stanton that included a photo from the movie “Step Brothers.”

In that movie, characters played by Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly initially don’t like each other before they both come to the realization that they are best friends.

Even if you’re not happy about the Yankees’ acquisition, you have to laugh about that tweet from Stanton, no?
