LaVar Ball tweets meme of himself dunking on President Trump

Um, OK.

President Trump and talk-show favorite/shoe salesman LaVar Ball engaged in a Twitter spat last month after Trump helped Ball’s son LiAngelo leave China early after he had been held on suspicion of shoplifting.

Trump thought it would be nice if LiAngelo Ball and his two now former UCLA teammates, who were under house arrest, said acknowledged Trump’s assistance (they did). LaVar Ball countered by saying the charges were not a big deal.

That little spat burned out on its own after a few nasty tweets. However, LaVar Ball seemed to be trying to illicit a response from Trump with this meme that was posted on Twitter on Thursday afternoon:

LaVar Ball tagged President Trump in the tweet and added the hashtags #thetrumpdunk‪ and #stayinyolane.

Stay in you lane is a reference to a spat Ball had with Fox Sports’ Kristine Leahy.
