Iowa fans revel in keeping Ohio State out of College Football Playoff
Ohio State* didn’t make the College Football Playoff, and the Buckeyes’ loss to 7-5 Iowa is why they won’t play for a national championship.

The Hawkeyes hammered Ohio State 55-24, and the black mark on the Buckeyes’ resume was too much for the playoff committee to overlook.
After the field was announced Sunday, Iowa fans took pleasure in knowing their team’s blowout win was the reason Ohio State missed out on the playoff.
