Who’s ready to see a doubles team of Jack Sock and Travis Kelce?
Blue Valley North graduate Jack Sock is competing in Nitto ATP Finals in London, and he has a chance to be the first U.S. player to make the semifinals since Andy Roddick in 2007.
Sock was filmed warming up for a match throwing a football, so the NFL UK office sent him some Chiefs swag, because he is big fan.
The gift package included an Alex Smith jersey, two caps and a stocking cap.
“I’ve been living there since I was what, 10 years old, 11 years old. I grew up in Nebraska, they don’t have a pro team, so I’m a die-hard Husker fan for college football, and then I bleed red and yellow for the Chiefs, that’s for sure,” Sock said in in a video after he got the gifts. “I have a good buddy on the team, actually, Travis Kelce, so I try to go to games when I can.”
NFL UK tweeted about the friendship and wondered if the two players would want to hit the court together: “tennis star @JackSock pairing up with @Chiefs tight end @tkelce on the tennis court?! Up for it Travis?”

Kelce said he’d take after a tennis legend: “Let’s do some work! My game takes after John McEnroe... I’ll make sure the official feels our intensity all match!”

Sock responded by tweeting: “you do that and I’ll get my touchdown dance ready for when we get the W”

Kelce and Sock together on the court? Tennis would never be the same. You can see the video of Sock receiving the Chiefs gear in the video above.
